I grew up in Clayton. My great grandparents owned a farm outside of town. After graduating from Clayton High School, I attended UNC-Chapel Hill where I earned degrees in Political Science and Economics.
Now I’m raising my family here and I want to help shape the future of my hometown.

Now I’m raising my family here and I want to help shape the future of my hometown.
We must maintain our safe community, with that small town charm. At the same time, I want us offer high quality schools and provide excellent amenities to residents, while welcoming diverse businesses and thoughtful development.

Even as a boy, I wanted to serve my community. I earned my Eagle Scout through the Clayton Civitan, Troop 24.
After returning to Clayton as an adult, I have served my community in a variety of ways.
Here's some examples of organizations for which I am or have been involved:
